Meet Time: 6:00PM (Time to talk in parking lot)
Eat Time: 7:00PM (This will work unless it rains)
Cruise Time: 8:30ish, when food is done... :twisted:

The cruise will cover Grand River, and progress to Cedar Street to the GUT. We could be here as late as midnight, although you came leave as you like by this point. The reason for the later meet time is because I am trying to fit this in with the late cruise.

Everyone that comes willl get a miEVO.net decal and spotted cards will be available by this time.

Let's see if you head down grand river away from campus, and go past a bridge where there is a circuit city, and keep going there will be a Meijers/Bennigans and BD's is almost right across the street from this area. I believe it is close to marsh/Grand River. If you know where the Meridian Mall is at then your set!

We are doing this on May 6th? Im gonna try and get a few other wicked crazy rides around for making the trip. 600awhp 2001 Audi S4 and a 800whp 1100+ft lbs. of torque 2001 Corvette. And maybe an 01 M3 Modded pretty good. The M3 owner is a previous Evo owner. And these guys have all wanted to do the "GUT". Ive told them many kill stories from my Galant VR4 owning days.

view was always been rather good at BD's... You will have at least one guy competing though :wink: I wonder what happend to the girl that served us last year... she said her girlfriend had an Evo. Hmm.

I am thinking we could meet somewhere, possibly at BD's, Eat, then drive through the East Lansing/MSU strip and bassically show off a little (lots of cops so be careful) and then make our way to the south side where the GUT is. We'll have to time it out so that it is somewhat late in the Evening when we get to the GUT or no one will be there.

Does anyone know which parking lot people are chillin at these days? Warren? Anybody? It's usually at the Corner of Jolly & Cedar or a little farther south, perhaps as far south as Edgewood (Target, Celebration Cineme etc.) I'll look into it!

Haslett and Okemos have some pretty nice cars there. I used to live in Portland (20 miles west of Lansing) and would take my 73 Challenger down there to light up a few of those evil young dudes in their modded rice-powered imports. Those were the days.....

I will try to head over that way.... Thursday is hard for me though, I might be able to make the cruise at 8 or so. We'll see.

ok... well i say kmart since its right off of 96 and we just can hop back on and shoot out there.. and becuase the guys coming from livonia( we really dont want to take m-14 over to 23 becuase of all the construction and they ahve it down to one lane... its much easier to shoot up 275 to I-96 and the just stop at Grand river. and meet up with everyone..

PLANS HAVE CHANGED!

I called for reservations and it just so happens that this is the same night
as MSU graduation so they are booked with other plans. To enable me to
make this work with my tentative reservation of 25 people they asked me
to push it back to 9PM to be in the resaturant.


This means two things, I can keep the meet time the same, although 3
hours to chat seems like a long time, or we can meet for photos, then
proceed to dinner at the later time. This would make a new meeting place
but I think we can make this work. I am thinking meeting at a certain
Quality Dairy store on the west side of Lansing and then proceeding to
take photos sometime around 7:30-8pm and then heading over to eat at 9pm.

What does everyone think? I hate changing plans but I think this will work
out just as well too, plus it will allow daytime shots rather than nighttime. :mrgreen:

Meeting location is a Quality Dairy store off from exit 93 on I96. You will take the Westbound exit which will probably say "Grand Ledge" or something like that. This exit will put you right off on Saginaw Hwy. From there you will see a dealership on your right and a Walmart on your left. You will go through the light and the Quality Dairy will be on your right. The QD is 1/2 mile or less from getting off the highway. There is also a gas station there so if you need to fill up it is very conveient. As a thanks to using the lot they also have a great baked goods, and ice cream; feel free to divulge. To the east side of this lot we will meet and there is plenty of spcae for everyone. Meeting time will be between 6-7pm. We will be leaving the lot by 7:30pm to begin the photo shoot somewhere downtown. If you need help with directions and have any questions call me 989-400-6715.

The Kmart in Brighton is only about 35-40 minutes away right? So we could leave around 3:45 to get there by 4:30? Since everything was delayed 2 hours (7 until 9) the 4:30 time is still on @ the Kmart in Brighton? Sounds like we will be there (Lansing Dairy place) around 5:15-5:30? I thought I read the start time was going to be around 6:30? Just trying to get the times straight-I'm trying to get some stuff done during the day, so the later I leave the better for me-

I personally would suggest leaving from the Kmart at sometime around 5:30 no later. It should take about 45 minutes from there to get to Lansing. So probably have your caravan meet up down there say at 5-5:15 so you can leave by 5:30. How does this sound?

My wife would be there but she is working. That is fine though as I am sure a few others may have wife/girl/family around to be with them.

I also will not feel bad people leave early or show up later. You don't have to feel bad about this at all! Just make sure we get a few pictures before you leave!
