First Westland Meet.....A Success!

Well for as cold as it was i thought we had a pretty good turn out. I had the Red evo (wearing a black sweatshirt & black hat).

I'm glad I got to meet/talk to some of you but I still didn't get to meet everyone, hopefully at the next one...should be warmer.. April 1st.. Had a good time at rams horn as well, as some found there way over there after standing in the cold. Thanks for the free www.mievo.net sticker, joe.

I saw some people taking pictures...post them when you can.

My cousin (jeff) who was also at the meet (black STI) also said he had a good time telling me to post for him and after the meet we did a few laps on gratiot seeing EVOGLH (bob) and elhalisf out there..

Hope we continue to have successful meets in the months to come & I believe Joe has some ideas of other things we can do (kart2kart etc.)

I am working the deal, the seller so far seems to be reluctant to answer back any e-mails. I guess I would be a little reluctant also. I added up his mod list and everyting it looks that has been put in the car and it is over $4000 in parts, if he bought them all new then the price goes up more. If you include some labor the price goes up to around $5000. Since he says he is going back to school I am trying to see if he is interested in making a trade for my civic and that way he gets a car out of the deal. I can't say he would want it but its not the worst car in the world either. I would rather drive the Civic over say an Aveo.... :shock:

The car has a clean title and the blue is refreshing to me because well I have never owned a blue car. Although I am interested possibly in smokedmustangs stock carbon spoiler because tahts what the car deserves to have! (Thanks Bob!)

:? I looked into buying that car...the good...Its modded and looks well taken care of. THE BAD...He is having head studs put on along with another HEAD GASKET. I have emails from him telling me he blew the headgasket. Or that it was pushing coolant out. Just giving you the heads up. He had the car originally priced at $24,000. I budged him to $20,000 and got the bad out of him.

Wouldn't mind a late spring/early summer meet there. Kzoo isn't that far of a drive for anyone along the southern side of the state.

I think he listed them because when he started the auction the car was in the shop. Its a nice car with the right goodies on it. But buying that car is buying his problems. He is trying to pawn the car off because at the begining of his auction I offered him $20k. He said NO WAY! Now all of a sudden he'll take it?!?! HMMMMMMM.......

I got him down to $19500 Buy it now and he will give me $3000 for my Civic. I am pretty confident that if Dyno4mance is working on it redoing the HG and what not that the problems should be gone. After looking at all of his posts on EVOm it is evident that he DROVE the car. Although it is hard to find one that has been "babied".

It seems as if his financial situation is very bad. I get to get away from the Civic and he gets his car sold and I get an EVO with 5k in mods. Maybe I should walk. I got like 6 hours to get it thought out though thats for SURE!

Months of talking her into the 'necessity' of Recaro baby seat for our little one, finally manage to catch up with Matt (dropspeed), and forgot to get the pics I promised the wife.
She's threatening to engrave it on my forehead next meet.
