I just got my call today from PHNS/Mcclaren in Bay City after my second interview. I will be starting sometime this month as a PC Support Specialist. They will be sending my contract. I get full benefits, 8-5, Tuiton Reimbursement, and 401k/Pension. I can't wait. The pay is in the low 30's, not too shabby for entry level. The benefits make it worth like 35k.

On another note I will be walking the stage saturday to celebrate my graduation from Central Michigan University. I will be receiveing my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a Business Administration minor. This should be great! I am the first of my friend to land a job after graduating. I must be doing something right!!

congrats on the job and your graduation. I can't wait till I am done with CMU...extended learning here in Auburn hIlls.

Have you spent much time in Bay City though. I was there a few times with my ex visiting her relatives......just didn't seem to be much there.

I know there isn't much to Bay City. That is fine with me though, it makes cost of living much less.

Congrats on your upcoming CMU degree, what are you majoring in?

/\ thanks Joe, thinks worked a little dif. for me. after my assoc. deg. back in the day I got a good job and things kept rolling from there. But now at my current job (product dev. eng.) they are requiring me to finish my bach. I have about 96 credits now...in Bach. of Science in Vehicle Design.

Is everything looking good still for the clutch on the 15th? all good here!

Congrats from me too!

It's hard to find a job as a new college grad, and doubly so in Michigan. It's amazing how things change. I graduated from OSU with a BS in computer science back in 1999 and started work at $55K/year. In one year I was earning six figures. Now I make significantly less than that but I'm still grateful for a job. I started in tech support at IBM as a college grad so I think it's a great job to start, mainly because you get exposure to lots of people and it's easy to win gratitude for good work since you're directly fixing people's problems. Always keep your eyes peeled for new opportunities, for some reason support guys always seem to hear about them first...

The 15th will have to do for now. I will be starting my new job on the 16th so that is putting some pressure on me, although maybe we can work something out for saturday split sunday. Just have to see how thins would work out. I have a dinner at 6pm in Lansing on Saturday, so I would need to get going really rearly to help you then. Maybe friday could work too.

I am sure great income is in my potential. It will take time but I'm not tto concerned.

It will be nice to have you living in Bay City man. I'm sure we will be seeing more of eachother. Let me know if you need any help finding a house/appartment in the area. How soon will you be moving out here?

Congats!!

Everything went very well today. I am very excited about my graduation and now I get to look forward to my new job. From one task to the next. As least now I get to race soon!
