I was invited here by EvoGLH on EvoM. I don't have my Evo yet, but I'm picking it up after this semester is over. I'm driving down (and over) to WI to pick up this car

It's a 2003 Rally Red Evo VIII, Buschur Intake, 3" turbo back exhaust, ported exhaust manifold, TurboXS BOV, MBC at 20psi, EVO VII taillights and Dynoflash reflash.

Future mods (which will be ordered in the next few weeks) include GSC 264 intake/272 exhaust cams, Walbro fuel pump, APR front splitter, EvoDave painted MR-ish headlights, Defi BF boost and EGT gauges, and another dynoflash mail-in update.

As for me personally, I'm 21 years old, and have been into cars for a long time now. I've gone through a few, including a 94 RX7 and a turbo Integra GSR. I plan to stick with this one for at least 5 years, so hopefully it'll become a nice project. I'm a senior at MSU with one year left. Oh, and I am from Midland :) Hope to get to know all of you and come to the meets when I can!

Take care

Tyler

I should be meeting the guy the first or second week of May. Probably early in the second week, like that monday or tuesday. I'll get you my cell phone number sometime before I go :)

If you don't mind me asking what is the asking price on this car, and miles?

Welcome to miEVO.net!

I am getting it for $22k, and it has 40,000 miles on it. I know it's a lot, but it's all highway commuting miles and all the regular maintenance has been done on it, so I'm not too worried.

Not too bad at all. I really don't see how much regular maintaince it would need besides oil/drivetrain, tires, brakes, and maybe plugs. Sounds liek a nice car and the mods make it worth at least another 1k more.

if your timing is right, my buddies would also like to check out the EVO when you pick it up. I'll have them bring their cars and make it worth the trip. I figure a couple EVOs and a viper and a supra would be a nice little get together :D
