Read about this over @ xceedspeed.com and the reaction was about the same - whether or not the organizers are there, the cars will come anyways. It seems that the organizers are pretty confident that they can pull it off without a lead coordinator, though.

I hope it's not going away. I live within walking distance of woodward (off 14 mile) so it's always a blast to not have to deal with traffic and stroll right into the thick of things.

from what I read, I think it will still be on for thise year. The limiting cars quote was when a guy from Ferndale was talking about scaling down some of their events, including a vintage car show, and limiting the number of cars for that show. I hope. Anyways, lets plan to make a big Evo turnout if all is indeed good with the event.

I live right near woodward. I am going to try to find time in the next couple of weeks to get a hold of some businesses down there to see how much spots are. I think it would be cool if we had 5-10 EVO's all parked to show off. The last couple of years the dream cruise has been a dream stop and go. Who would be interested in parking down there on saturday of the cruise? I know some businesses will save our spots so if you want to spend a few hours cruising that is not a problem. I will keep everyone updated. Peace.
