Sorry to break the bad news but the meet in Cooksville Mits has been cancelled due to time and venue constraints.

On behalf of MCCC and its members, I would like to apologize for the cancellation of this event.

Thanks
-Emil

this may be a stupid question, but are we going to get harrassed for having Evos in Canada? I hear they're illegal to buy there... maybe our citizenship will save us...

No problem for a US citizen to take his US-legal car into/out of Canada... Our USDM Evo's don't pass Transport Canada Dept's 5MPH crash test, so Canadians can't title one there.

I've had my Evo "south of the border" (Windsor) a few times: the only 'hassle' I've had is trying to get through the crowd of Canadians who want to get a good look at the - for them - mythical, unobtainable Evolution VIII !!!

Pity - great bunch of Lancer guys & clubs in Canada...

When I took my evo to toronto it was like being a celebrity. As you know, Toronto has a huge asian population and the best university in canada. That results in a lot of car guys with money who like the evo. A couple anecdotes:

Driving on the 401 a car full of asian girls pulled up to us and started honking and waving.

People in lancers will tail you for miles and corner you with questions

Driving around the u of toronto campus, we saw another guy fall of a curb because he was staring at the evo

If you want to know what the celeb life is in canada, bring your evo to canada.

And no, there are no issues with bringing any street legal US car from the US to canada, as long as it comes back to the US. There are plenty of cars in canada we don't get here and vice versa but as long as there's no change of ownership you'll be fine.

This is from Lansing, it would take 4-5 hours depending on speed. Although I wouldn't spee dtoo much around Sarnea or whaetever tis spelled...I got a ticket from those Po Po's a few years beack....

Toronto Is an AWESOME city. Not many cities you can walk on the streets at night and feel safe. a Canadian, Eh are pretty fun to hang out with.

Although what time of say is it at??

Sounds like a cool day event.
