I'm not sure who follows this but thought I would post it here. The first race of the season for the Speed World Challenge is this weekend at Sebring International Raceway in Florida. You can watch "Live timing and scoring" linked off the SWC website or the race will air on Speed channel Sunday, March 27th at 1:00pm for the Touring class and 2:00pm for GT.

Interesting starting line-up as there is one Neon SRT and one WRX in the Touring class. I believe this is the first year for turbo cars. I'm more interested in the new Volvo S60R's running GT.

Anyone going to the Mid-Ohio race May 20-22. I should be there.

Update: In the last practice session last night, the WRX driven by Flynn was 5.5 seconds of the leaders pace (best lap) and the SRT driven by Stewart was 11.0 seconds off. Neither driver is a rookie. Qualifying starts this morning. The turbo cars are going to need some help!

I assume this isn't a circle track then? This seems like a lot of fun then. Where in Ohio?

It is a road-course series. The Mid-Ohio track is in Lexington. There is also an event at the Champ Car Grand Prix track in Cleveland, Ohio on June 24-26th.
