It comes with a 2.4 liter Inline 4 MIVEC engine. This engine is awesome! It has 162hp and 162ft/lbs of torque stock. Dynoing on other cars with this stock engine have netted around 140-145 horsepower at the wheels. Mototrend tested the car and it did 0-6 in 6.9 and a 1/4 mile in 14.9 seconds. It is pretty sweet. The engine has such a great powerband and it is so smooth.

Driving impression of the Ralliart is very good too. Coupled with EVO 7 seats, the EVO 8 shifter, Double Syncro 2nd and third gear, awesome brakes including EBD, and of course a great chassis this car needs somre more promotion. The biggest thing holding it back is the FWD, although in this car's application it ways in at a mere 2850lbs, which is very good. The tranny shifts like an EVO, and the redline comes just the same, very quick. It doesn't take much in this car to get going fast and going to 85 in third gear is very fun. I will take the opportunity occasionly to drive the Ralliart and evertime I do it surprises me.

The MIVEC is better than VTEC because it utilizes 3 cam profiles for low, midrange, and high range power. The cams help smooth out the engine and keep torque spread out over a large area. The car pulls nicely and seems like it has some induction, although it is an NA engine. I just thought I would give my girls car some props!

You think it shifts nice now, drop in a new short shifter and the speedsource brass bushings, then it feels like a gated shifter. I have a RRM stainless steel clutchline on the way that will eliminate the restrictor, which should make shifting even better.

Something else to be said for the MIVEC engine is that it LOVES to be modded! Little mods here and there end up making big differences in power.

The 04 is awesome, I loved mine, but the 05 has had some improvements. They added a few more H.P. in the low to mid range, so it pulls a little harder, but more is needed in the top end still. :D

RRM's piggyback ECU supposedly gives us tons of power in the low and mid range with a bit on top, should be just what you need. :)

You had an 04, but now you have an 05?

nothing like a EVO turbo on a RA...does the manifold fit the RA's head?

Also since you have the IC and lower intercooler pipe out of the car can you take a few measurements for me?

The LICP diameter where it connects to the soft house that goes to the turbo outlet(hotside)

The diamter of the FMIC inlet for the hotside. Would be the pipe on the left side of the IC imagining the IC on the car.

Thanks, I am looking to make my LICP.

Yeah I'll get those for you...

Are you looking for ID, or OD?

Not sure if it will fit yet...I'm not sure if I will keep this RalliART or not yet... If I do, I might do an engine swap, which will negate the need for that turbo, but if I don't I know of an 84 Conquest for sale, and that turbo will make it a fun car to drive. :D :D

I am looking for OD...shouldn't be any big difference. Just put the tape measure on each diamter i am looking for and then measure the size. Like you would be ordering a silicone coupler to replace the stock parts.
