I've sent a few PMs to some Evo owners on EvoM that I've talked to who live in MI. Don't think any of them have shown up on here yet, but I want to encourage everyone to spread the word so that this club can actually grow to a respectible size ya know?

Send PMs, and if you see other Evos driving around the state let them know about the site. Heck, even leave a note on a parked car if you see one (on paper of course). Lancers OZs and Ralliarts too!

Will do! I sent out almost 70 PM's on EVOM to try and recruit. I may go around and post on some other forums and stuff like that. I have been quite busy with setting up stuff on the site right now. Thanks for looking out and spreading miEVO.net around, make it like wildfire... :P

it is not larger... most of the members had 0 posts...

EvoM is definitely considered the best forum out there... EvolutionForums is mostly for newbs and prospective Evo owners

Joe got me here from Evom, I'm glad you guys started this. Evom is great but no street racing talk is allowed and this will be great for orginizing soem loca events and cruises and such.

I'm trying - I've invited every OZ & Ralliart I come across to this (and the other) forum. So far: 5 or 6 OZ's, & a couple of Ralliarts (one of 'em just today, 03/25/05.)

I will spread the news of this local forum. I think it's great to see alot of MI EVO's getting together in the heartland of the domestics. :)

Organizing get togethers and local install help is just a bonus!

I met a guy with a Blue Evo here in Lansing, and told him about the site, haven't seen him on yet, has anyone else? I also saw another blue one in a parking lot by my work that had Injen stickers on the side windows and an Injen plate frame, but didn't get a chance to leave a note...

I suck. The two Evos at Midland were Justin and another guy (which I think he knew). I'll keep an eye out though.

Yeah the other silver one out there was Jarrod, or EVOLUTIONARY, he is on here although he never posted anything.

No offense intended, I was referring specifically to the SVR event. I thought I only saw two other Evos there (Justin and Jarrod). You were signed up though; did you not make it out? I'm a bit absent minded, so you very well could've parked next to me and I was completely oblivious :oops:

there are a lot of lancers and evos over here in kalamazoo. i've seen at least 4 other yellow ozs, tons of black ozs, a blue rs evo, 2 white evo8s, and a red evo8. there are also tons of other mitsubishis....everyday i see like 15 eclipses and 5 3000GT's. on one of the major roads over here, i always see one of the other yellow ozs at a body shop with a crowd of people around it. i should go over there and check it out. :wink:

well maybe i thought it was an rs since it didnt have a spoiler...maybe they got a custom paint job or something...i only saw it shoot by and didnt get a good look at it

I'm taking it upon myself to step up and recruit every kalamazoo EVO I come across. I had so much fun just chatting with the other owners and that was after driving a couple hours, standing in the rain for a few more, and having to watch everyone have fun driving the course while I was just watching. It seems like they are coming out of nowhere around here in the last few weeks. I'll spread the word.

Finally tracked down yet another Evo (Jeff - 2003 Apex Silver) - he's been trying to find some other local guys to hang with, daytrips, BBQs & meets, AutoX, answer his questions, etc...
