I spent a few hours detailing my 2004 evo the other day in preparation for the 2007 detailing season. If anyone remembers my post about doing this as a side job let me know what you think more pics later also!

well its not free, it is a busniess. But I am very inexpensive!

I bet my black car would be the hardest detailing job you've ever had :) What were your rates again?

lol it is time dependant but about $150.00 is my target price for a lancer/evo (shops are about $300-350.00). Thats full interior, light shampooing if needed, wheels/tires, leather conditioning if needed, hand wash, clay bar, polish all the swirls out with up to 3 stages as needed to acheive a swirl free paint/clear coat, glaze to bring out the gloss, and wax or a synthetic sealant (dependant on the type of protection you want) also will fill in chips if you have the touch up paint.

I do paint correction, I dont use low end 3M or meguires polishes that just reduce major swirls and fill the rest. Then as you wash the car you wash the scratches back into the paint. I to the best of the paints ability make it a mirror finish without being aggressive to remove too much paint or clear.
