I have been looking for rims for like 5 months now, I still can't find any I like.

I want a 7 spoke 17x9 35mm offset lightweight rim.
Must be MATTE BLACK, not accepting any other color, since my evo is a red IX MR.

I like the look of the Enkei CDR9 and also the NT03 M.

Other possibilities are the FN01R-C and OZ.

Anyone know a good wheel site?

Those look good, but not in silver. It will prolly have to be painted or coated? I wonder if I should just go with the FN01R-C matte black.

Once I do get new wheels, I don't know if I will keep or sell my MR rims.

Ah, I was (am?) looking for MR rims!

For what its worth, I was going to powdercoat my 2nd stockers, but after reading about the different ways to do it, I found some interesting (but not officially tested) debates.

Basically, there are two ways to p/c - low temp and high temp. Low temp is ok, but high temp powdercoating may cause wheels to become brittle. Dont know how true this is though...and well p/c was expensive.

If you are looking for somewhere to paint your rims contact Andrew (05Evolution8MR), $150 for all four.

(PMed you)

Just about any shop that any shop that carries brand you want shouls be willing to order specifically what you're after...

Here's another link:

$150 for all four: gotta talk to 05Evolution8MR about that -- want to redo my original 'beater' rims to OEM condition. (or close to it... ;))
If I remember correctly, the closest match to the Evo8 Enkei paint is "Suzuki Sonic Silver" color code YD8, (aka color-Rite 4915, Flanders #745-54915, etc.)

Maybe I am too specific for my budget, haha. Probably too picky too. I am so specific when it comes to mods i.e. brand, look, color, size etc.

Man it get frustrating trying to find the perfect product to go with FOR A GOOD PRICE.

Thanks for the help though.
