Bringing back this old thread ---

I have my set of Sumitomo HTR ZIIs in my garage. Used for 35kish. But there still is a good amound of tread in the middle (3-4/32). With my neg. camber I was wearing the insides more than center/outer. But for those who dont have more than stock camber this should do you well. Im going to 255s for next season. I used these in dragging and got 1.6x 60's with them. And one open track day - they stick well.

Size: 235/45/17s, price - PM offer.

Would those 16" tires fit on a 1G FWD DSM? I think they may be a little large though. 205 55 16 is stock size.

Hey Joe, using that wheel tire calc. that someone found - here is what I came up with. In my 96 Impala SS days though I was able to run 255/50/17 in th summer, and 245/65/17 or something like that...either way it was a taller truck like tire - all the calc. said it wouldnt work but it did. If you want and have the time, drive on down, my roommate works for discount - he can mount one up at the shop on the spot and we can test fit it.

I'm probably the only one here who has a car that those will fit on  However, I'm trying to get rid of the damn thing (Grand Marquis), so gotta pass on the winter tires.
